Scope
This policy applies to information collected through this website, the ROVEN Flight Log signup form and messages you send to us. It does not govern third-party websites or services that have their own privacy notices.
Information we collect
We may collect:
- your email address and marketing preference when you join the ROVEN Flight Log;
- signup records, including the date, source, confirmation status and consent record;
- information you choose to include when you contact us; and
- technical and anti-abuse information processed by our providers, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps and reCAPTCHA results.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the Flight Log form.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- send product launches, development updates, field-testing opportunities and occasional promotional emails you requested;
- administer subscriptions, record consent and honor unsubscribe requests;
- respond to questions and potential custom-project inquiries;
- protect the website, prevent abuse and troubleshoot problems; and
- comply with applicable law and enforce our rights.
Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent to send marketing emails. We may also process limited information for our legitimate interests in securing and operating the website, responding to requests and maintaining accurate consent records, or to meet legal obligations. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time.
Service providers and transfers
We use Mailchimp, an Intuit service, to host the Flight Log signup process, record consent and deliver email. We also use website hosting and infrastructure providers. These providers process information for us under their terms and privacy commitments. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
We do not sell your Flight Log email address. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We retain subscription information while you remain subscribed and as reasonably necessary to provide the Flight Log, maintain consent and suppression records, resolve disputes, secure our services and comply with law. After you unsubscribe, we may retain the minimum information needed to ensure we do not send you marketing again.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and to withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing.
To make a privacy request, email hello@rovenaero.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies and third-party pages
We do not currently use our own advertising or analytics cookies on this website. Hosting infrastructure and the Mailchimp confirmation pages may process technical information or use essential technologies to provide security, prevent abuse and operate their services. Their privacy notices govern their independent processing.
Children
The website and Flight Log are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our products, providers or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated where required.
